Objective: to familiarize yourself with the computer environment

Please complete the WIN, FM, and BEB tutorials - it is not necessary for you to complete the Case Problems

The CS101 course files should be located in the "Ganser PC Lab" folder on the desktop. You will need to drag the files onto your desktop since it is not possible to manipulate the files on the server

Since this is a preliminary lab assignment, there is no deliverable. Please use the full 2 hours to go through the 3 assigned tutorials

1. navigate my website - you've passed with flying colours
2. remember to read through the hand outs before class
3. write a couple of sentences about how the computer/ computer science has greatly enhanced the quality of life, and how it has contributed to any negatives. You should look for relevant articles to support your argument
4. this is due in class on Wednesday for discussion over this week
