Lab 1; MS Word Tutorials 1, 2, 3

Lab Preperation:

Read OFF1- OFF32 in the MS Office 2003 textbook before coming to lab.

Lab:

From the Office 2003 textbook, please do the:

• 3 Word Tutorials, WD3, WD41, WD89

You do not need to do the Case Exercises.

The course files can be found in the "Ganser PC Lab" folder on the desktop. The folder "CS101 Fall 2005" contains the files for this class. You should drag the folder you need to your flash drive to work with it since you are not allowed to make changes on the server

Deliverables:

Before 11:59 PM on September 13. No lab will be accepted after this time

The heading of your e-mail should be "Your Last Name LAB 1" (e.g. Mollah Lab 1)
Submit the following 3 items to CS101Lab1@hotmail.com:

1. the TreeFAQ.doc file, as you have changed it in lab. Name it "yourlastname_Lab1a.doc" (e.g. mollah_lab1a)
2. the WAN.doc file, as you have changed it in lab. Name it "yourlastname_Lab1b.doc" (e.g. mollah_lab1b)
3. your one page write up on the postive and negative impact of computing. Name it "yourlastname_lab1c.doc" (e.g. mollah_labc)

Item 3 above must be in the following format:
Font: Arial 10
Margins: 1 inch on top and bottom and right, 0.5 inches on the left
The heading must be bolded and centered
There should be 2 paragraphs divided by 2 sub-headings: Postive Impact and Negative Impact
The subheadings must be bolded
